Downtown Dover Partnership Design Committee Meeting Minutes April 12, 2017, 12:30-1:30pm, CenDel Foundation Building I. Call to order – Kristin Pleasanton, Design Committee Chair II. Roll call- Members present: Kristin, Tricia, Elena, Dawn Tina Bradbury (DDP Program Manager) and Will Grimes (Neighborhood Revitalization Coordinator for NCALL) also present. III. Approval of minutes from last meeting-Minutes approved for March 8th 2017 Meeting. IV. New Business: a. New façade grant applications- No new applications to discuss b. Budget/Board mtg. update-Kristin presented banner designs for Board approval and discussed concerns with schedule and maintenance for installation of banners and damaged poles. Board pledged to resolve issue, and banner are now installed. No discussion of denial of façade grant for Moving Experience as the Board determined that this issue was not appropriate for the meeting. Board president Greg Moore, Kristin, and Todd Stonesifer (Moving Experience) met privately the next day and resolved the issue. c. Farmers Market Banner- Members reviewed designs and selected banner to be ordered. Tina is to determine number , location and verify sizes needed for various poles. d. Holiday Window contest- not discussed e. Mural-no update V. Old Business a. Old façade grants- Tiffany’s, Pardee, Gunn, Janaids- no reimbursements submitted b. Update on 27W. Loockerman (Stonesifer)- discussed above c. New banner installation- Tina has schedule from City that she will share. Schedule outlines banner type, when it goes up, when it comes down, etc. There are 7 new banners that have not been installed. come down after the event. Members discussed placement of Farmers Market banners, likely in locations where Dover Days banners are at present, also within the Plaza and along North St. Tina and Kristin pledged to take a walk to document locations.
