DDP Design Committee Notes
• Welcome Call to Order
• Roll Call

-There was not a quorum
-Stephanie Adams regrettably is unable to stay on committee due to conflicting work schedule
-There were no new façade grants to review
-The topic of the Merchants Committee’s downtown window display contests was discussed.
Our recommendation was to hold a summer contest (as opposed to quarterly contests) and use
outside judges such as those from Milford or Smyrna businesses/downtown organizations.
-Busking has started downtown
-Mitten & Winters mural is 90% complete – see attached images
-Family Dollar was discussed as the site for the second mural. Tina will be contacting owners.
-Christmas lights discussion will be tabled until Tina meets with City of Dover regarding
budget
-July meeting will be cancelled and if there is facade business, it will be conducted through
email
