SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING - ES ACTION (PUBLIC) - Personnel Matters

SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING A Special City Council Meeting was held on September 25, 2023, at 5:15 p.m., with Council President Hare presiding. Members present were Mr. Anderson, Mr. Neil, Mr. Rocha, Mr. Sudler, Dr. Pillsbury, Ms. Arndt, Mr. Boggerty, and Mr. Lewis. Mayor Christiansen was also present. Council staff members present were Mr. Rodriguez, Ms. Bennett, Deputy Chief Spicer and Chief Johnson. ADOPTION OF AGENDA Mr. Neil moved for the adoption of the agenda, seconded by Dr. Pillsbury, and unanimously carried. Mr. Neil moved to recess into Executive Session pursuant to 29 Del. C. §10004(b)(9) – Personnel matters in which the names, competency, and abilities of individual employees are discussed, where the employee has not requested that the meeting be open. The motion was seconded by Mr. Rocha and unanimously carried. The Special Council Meeting recessed into Executive Session at 5:16 p.m. The Executive Session adjourned at 6:13 p.m. ACTION RESULTING FROM THE EXECUTIVE SESSION During the Executive Session, members of Council discussed personnel matters. There was no action taken. Mr. Hare moved for adjournment of the Special Council Meeting, hearing no objection, the meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m. ANDRIA L.
