SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING - ES ACTION (PUBLIC) - Personnel Matters

SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING A Special City Council Meeting was held on August 24, 2021 at 5:22 p.m. with Council President Sudler presiding. Members present were Mr. Anderson, Mr. Boggerty, Mr. Neil, Mr. Hare, Mr. Rocha, Mr. Taylor (departed at 6:20 p.m., returned at 6:22 p.m.). Mrs. Arndt and Mr. Lindell were absent. Mayor Christiansen was also present. Council staff members present were Mr. Harline (departed at 5:23 p.m.), Mr. Junge, Mrs. Ramsey and Mrs. Sapp. ADOPTION OF AGENDA Mr. Anderson moved for adoption of the agenda, seconded by Mr. Rocha and unanimously carried. Mr. Hare moved to recess into Executive Session pursuant to 29 Del. C. §10004 (b)(9) - Personnel matters in which the names, competency and abilities of individual employees are discussed, unless the employee requests that such a meeting be open. The motion was seconded by Mr. Rocha and unanimously carried. The Special Council Meeting recessed into Executive Session at 5:23 p.m. The Executive Session adjourned at 6:55 p.m. ACTION RESULTING FROM THE EXECUTIVE SESSION Personnel Matters During the executive session, members of Council were briefed on submitted complaints. Mr. Hare moved to schedule a Special City Council Meeting - Executive Session on September 8, 2021. The motion was seconded by Mr. Taylor and unanimously carried. Mr. Hare moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Taylor and unanimously carried. The Special Council Meeting adjourned at 6:53 p.m. JANELLA MAE T.
