SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
Members of Council met in Executive Session on June 9, 2014 at 8:58 p.m. with Council President
Bonar presiding. Members present were Mr. Anderson, Mr. Dixon, Mr. Lynn, Mr. Perza,
Mr. Slavin, Mrs. Williams, Mr. Hare, and Mr. Hutchison.
Mr. Koenig was also present.
AGENDA ADDITIONS/DELETIONS
Mr. Hutchison moved for approval of the agenda, seconded by Mr. Slavin and unanimously
carried.
By unanimous consent, the Executive Session was convened pursuant to 29 Del. C.
§10004(b)(9) - Personnel Matters (Follow-Up to Council Appointed Employee Performance
Evaluation of December 2, 2013 - City Manager, Scott Koenig).
Meeting recessed at 8:59 p.m.
Mr. Slavin moved to adjourn the Executive Session, seconded by Mrs. Williams and
unanimously carried.
Executive Session adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
POTENTIAL ACTION RESULTING FROM THE EXECUTIVE SESSION
Follow-Up to Council Appointed Employee Performance Evaluation of December 2, 2013 -
City Manager, Scott Koenig
During the Executive Session, Mr. Koenig provided follow-up information related to his
performance evaluation of December 2, 2013.
Mr. Lynn moved to approve a three percent (3%) pay increase for City Manager Scott Koenig
effective June 9, 2014. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Williams and carried by a roll call
vote of six (6) yes (Anderson, Dixon, Lynn, Williams, Hutchison, and Bonar) and three (3) no
(Perza, Slavin, and Hare).
By unanimous consent, the Special Council Meeting adjourned at 9:14 p.m.
