DDP Design Committee Minutes 5-9-19 • Welcome Call to Order • Roll Call o Kristin Pleasanton, Chair o Dawn o Trisha o Diane o Tina o Rosie o Carrie • Approval of Minutes o Trisha had one correction. At the last meeting Elena was there, not Trisha. o Dawn moved to approve minutes with correction, Carrie 2nd • New Business- Façade Grants o None o Janaid’s Finished • New Business- Photographic Record o Diane meeting with Boy Scouts on photo project of Downtown o More at next meeting • New Business- Christmas Lights o Money being put aside to update Christmas lights. Tina saw examples at a Conference she recently attended o Meeting with the City to see if they will match funds, potentially up to $5,000.00 • Old Business- Mitten and Winters Mural Update o Final stages of painting Mural o Change of Heron to the doorway approved • Old Business- Harrington Mural o Harrington didn’t like mural suggestions o Dollar Store suggested as another potential downtown site for mural • Public Comments/ Other discussion o Tim Slavin (and Tina) suggested to bring “Buskers” downtown starting in May 2019 o Thinking of having a logo on the street to denote where the “buskers” can set up and preform. Trish approved idea, Kristin seconded to help fund the decal and approve design • Adjournment
