In response to Dr. Mishoe, PFC Smith, responded that the outdoor classroom was used for science curriculum
and includes an experiment table, dry erase board and easy access to the pond for samples.
Responding to Mr. Baird, PFC Smith stated that the PAL Program is helping to maintain the classroom on a

the main maintenance would fall on the school district. Dr. Mishoe mentioned that it might be possible to
collaborate with the Agricultural Section at Delaware State University.
PFC Smith announced that PAL is in the planning stages of a September 2020 Cancer Awareness 5K. This 5K
would be for awareness for all cancers and 50% of the proceeds would go towards childhood cancer research,
thru the Ronald McDonald Houses, the remaining 50% would stay with the PAL Program Dr. Mishoe stated that
there is a prostate cancer bike ride and men’s awareness event the 2nd Saturday in September each year to make
sure the PAL 5K does not conflict with that one.

the amount of approximately $25,000.00, responding, Acting Chief Stump will look into it.
Dr. Mishoe made a motion to accept the Standard Operating Procedures for the PAL bank account, seconded by
