Hello Folks,
I would like to set up a conference call for TEDxDover this week. I was thinking about
this Wednesday, March 1st at 7pm. Does this time NOT work for anyone for a 30 minute
call?
Also, if you have your lists of folks we should begin to contact, please forward them so I
can keep them all in one spot. Also, are any of you especially good with Adobe Acrobat
or another program to make marketing materials? We could really use that. Thanks and
let me know your thoughts?
Regards,
Dan Young
Hello Ladies,
I am back in town after 3 weeks in Glasgow, Scotland. It is now time to move into action
with our work on the TEDx Talk, co-sponsored by DETV.
We need to raise dollars for the talk so if each of you could just write down about 10
people who you believe would be great sponsors in the city of Dover, we can have a
conference call next week to go over the lists and discuss how to approach them.
Looking forward to catching up with each of you!
Regards,
Dr. Dan Young

Hello ladjes,
This is an email to introduce each of you to each other. If you are on this distribution list,
you are either l) working with DETV or 2) have showed an interest in helping with
TEDxDover. DETV is a sponsor of the TEDxDover event, which will be on June 18,
2016, at Dover Downs during the Firefly Music Festival. Our charge is to 1) raise money
for the event and 2) put on the event. I would like to begin raising money as soon as next
week so I would like each of you to start writing down the names of businesses in the
Dover area who may be good sponsors. I have attached a sponsorship prospectus from
TEDxWilmingtonUniversity so that you can get an idea of the funding levels. We need
to raise a minimwn of $10,000 for the event but I would like everyone to basically focus
on getting at least 4 sponsors of any level. For example, I think Del State would be an
excellent example of an organization that would have to sponsor the event. Take a look
at the sponsorship form, begin to formulate your lists, and more information will be
com mg.
Thanks for your assistance!
Regards,
Dr. Dan Young
