CITY OF DOVER PLANNING COMMISSION April 20, 2015 The Regular Meeting of the City of Dover Planning Commission was scheduled to be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 7:00 PM. With Vice Chairman Mr. Tolbert presiding, the other members present were Mr. Holt, Mr. Baldwin and Dr. Jones. Mr. Holden, Mr. Cregar, Ms. Still, Mr. Ambruso and Colonel Welsh were absent. Roll call revealed four (4) members present and five (5) members absent. Staff members present were Mrs. Dawn Melson-Williams, Mr. Jason Lyon, Mr. Scott Koenig, Mrs. Tracey Harvey and Mrs. Mullaney. Mrs. Melson-Williams stated that the Planning Commission does not have a quorum in order to conduct business tonight with only four (4) members of the nine (9) present. There is not a majority of the Planning Commission members in attendance so all items that were scheduled for this evening’s agenda will be moved to the May 18, 2015 meeting of the Commission. Staff was aware of several members who were out of town due to travel but we have since lost two (2) more members this evening related to sickness and job commitment. With four members, you cannot conduct business this evening. All items will be moved to May 18, 2015 meeting of the Commission and the City will take the obligation of re-notifying the various applications public notice requirements for the May 18, 2015 meeting. The following applications will be rescheduled: • S-13-06 US Gas at 461 North DuPont Highway • Z-15-01 Lands of 801 Gold Coast, LLC at 801 North State Street: Rezoning from RG-3 to C-A • SB-15-01 Lands of Michael E. Camisky at 5096 Hazlettville Road • S-15-04 Dover Town Center at 1574 North DuPont Highway • S-15-05 North Street Mini Storage at 1351 West North Street Mr. Tolbert stated that on behalf of the Commission, he deeply apologizes for this delay. It’s beyond their control but they do apologize for the delay and the inconvenience that it may cause the applicants and the attendees.
