DOVER HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION AGENDA February 23, 2011 - 7:00 p.m. - Simon Circle Boys & Girls Club 375 Simon Circle, Dover, Delaware This monthly meeting of the Dover Human Relations Commission (DHRC) is being convened in the community to listen to and learn from the community, to assist where possible, and to transmit the concerns and needs of Dover citizens to the Dover City Council. After introducing members of the DHRC and briefly outlining the charge of the Commission, the meeting will afford citizens of the City and others a forum of three (3) minutes each to relay their ideas and concerns and to advance possible solutions. Following the meeting, the DHRC will discuss recommendations and forward them to the Dover City Council for consideration and action. The following guidelines will be used for the public comment period during the meeting: 1) Written testimony may be given to the City Clerk's Office to be distributed to members for their review until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 23, 2011; 2) Citizens wishing to comment should contact the City Clerk's Office at 736-7008 or by e-mail at cityclerk@dover.de.us, in order to be placed on a list to assist the Chair in recognizing speakers. 3) Each speaker will be given three (3) minutes for their comments. /dd S:\AGENDAS & MINUTES\Misc-Agendas\HUMAN RELATIONS\2011\02-23-2011.wpd THE AGENDA ITEMS AS LISTED MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED IN SEQUENCE.
