1298 McKee Road: DIAKALP, LLC of Dover Delaware, has applied to the City of
Dover Zoning Board of Adjustment requesting a variance from the Supplementary
Regulations, Day Care Facilities, Number of Children (Article 5 § 14.31).
Specifically, the request is for a variance from the Maximum number of children
permitted in a Day care center located in a residential zoning district. Day care centers
located in the R-8 Zoning district are limited to a maximum of fifty (50) children. A
previous variance (V-05-09) was approved to permit 75 children. This request is to
increase the maximum number of children to 100.
Subject property is Tax Parcel ID # ED-05-067.00-01-30.00-000. The owner of record
is DIAKALP, LLC.
