P.A.L. NOTES
PAL has requested insurance quotes from PRATT Insurance and The Insurance Niche.
Responses from both insurance companies will be received any day now.
PAL would like to request the funds to purchase our own insurance to keep the PAL
program operational.
PAL would like to request approval to maintain petty cash. The petty cash will be in a
secured area only accessible by specific personnel. The purpose of the petty cash is to
pay for items that may be needed unexpectedly. There have been numerous events
where items had to be purchased the day off due to atmospheric conditions. One
example is the 1st Annual Youth Football Combine. On the day of the event, mosquitos
co-habituated the field and were biting everyone. PAL had to purchase mosquito spray
to spray the field and then smaller spray cans to spray the campers. All purchases were
out of pocket expenses due to the immediate need.
The PAL trailer has been completed and is currently ready for pickup at Wellers. Final
payment is needed.
The Delaware Sign Shop has provided the quote of approximately $330.00 to place the
PAL logo on the trailer. The Delaware Sign Shop has created all of the PAL uniforms,
apparel and signs in the past.
PAL would like to request the funds to get the PAL logo placed on the trailer.
PAL has its next event coming on June 15th at Delaware State University. This event will
be the 2nd Annual Youth Football Combine. We will open the event to the first 60
registered campers.
PAL would like to request approval to do the press release for this event as we have
done in the past.
PAL will host its 2nd Annual Fire School Event on July 10th. We will open this event to the
first 200 registered campers.
